Online workshop FOR WOMEN ONLY: How to get German Citizenship

27. Mai 2024 - 10:00 bis 12:00 Uhr

From 27 June 2024, there will be a new citizenship law in Germany. Among other things, the law establishes shorter deadlines for German citizenship as well as the possibility of dual citizenship. However, there are also stricter requirements, for example with regard to securing a livelihood. The online workshop provides an overview of the most important changes.

Please note: The event is aimed exclusively at persons who identify as women with a history of flight or migration (we would like to provide a safe space, so please refrain from registering otherwise).

Speaker: Melanie Skiba, Refugee Council Baden-Württemberg

This event will be conducted in English because of the high demand among the English speaking audience. The event is free of charge and will take place online as a video conference via Zoom. Information on data protection can be found here. Participation in the online seminar takes place on a PC. You will need a standard internet browser, a stable internet connection and headphones or speakers.

You will receive the access data before the event. Please note: We do not issue certificates of attendance for participation in free online seminars. We kindly ask you to refrain from such requests.

The event is being organised in conjunction with FIZ Infocafé. It is part of the project „Aktiv für Flüchtlinge“, supported by the Ministry of Justice and Migration (Ministerium der Justiz und für Migration) from state funds approved by the Baden-Württemberg state parliament.
